Hot Shots Tournament – Since 1985 soccer takes over the city as teams play in a competitive venue for all ages.  

Silverwood opens with local High School band performances, and new thrill seeking rides & attractions.  The western-style town features a live steam engine and an enchanting magic show. 

Dog d’Alene – A day dedicated to dogs with a costume contest, musical hoops, a dachshund dash and more!  ​

CDA Dog Fanciers also host an AKC show and judging at the Kootenai Fairgrounds in May.
 (GuestHouse Inn will waive the pet fee for those dogs in the competition.)

Car d’Alene- A classic car weekend featuring a parade, “best flames”, car displays, and awards.

IronMan- A grueling event with a mountainous backdrop and scenery of Lake Coeur d’Alene features a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike race, and a 26.2 mile run.

Street Fair , Taste Of The Coeur d’Alene’s and Art on The Green– A weekend filled with over 250 vendors of fine arts, crafts, food, daily entertainment & fun.  A free shuttle available to take you to events.

Fishing Derby - "The Big One" Lake Coeur d'Alene Chinook Derby

The Coeur d’Alene SUP CUP is a paddle board race for the whole family.  A youth race, 5 mile race, 1 mile race, and team relay are all part of this fun.
Coeur d’Fondo – A bicycle ride for all abilities and ages – for the Family 15 miles, for the marathoner  108 miles around Lake Coeur d’Alene.  (And levels in between)  Fun ends at Oktoberfest downtown!  Visit to register. 

Oktoberfest -  A weekend downtown filled with German food, brews, and live music.

Hayden Lake Marathon -  A 26.2 mile paved marathon with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains.

Tree Lighting Ceremony and Festival of Trees on Coeur d’Alene Lake is the largest on-the-lake holiday light display in America. 

Fishing Derby -  This is a "members only" derby, however membership in the Lake Coeur d'Alene Angler's Assoc. is only $35. First prize is $1,000 and kid's entry is free!

Cruise Lake Coeur d’Alene and visit Santa’s waterfront toy workshop, or take a sunset dinner cruise to see the lights.
